Ed Brazis, owner of Elite Hardscape and Watergarden, was recommended to me by Josette, Owner of Kol Koi in Kennesaw Georgia. I had recently purchase a home with a “do it yourself” Koi pond and, not knowing anything about care and maintenance, Josette recommended I call Ed at Elite. Ed and his crew showed up the following Saturday and rescued our Koi from the mess of the homemade pond. For our backyard, we were planning on hardscape, a fire pit with benches. We had reviewed Ed’s work from pictures Josette had shown us at Kol Koi. Ed consulted with us on various solutions to the pond and numerous hardscape concepts. After much due diligence and agreeing on scope and price, we hired Ed to transform our backyard. This included the total removal of the existing pond, a new larger, deeper pond built to be low maintenance, over 2000 square feet of flagstone, a fire pit, benches and whatever else the wife came up with during construction (her Zen area). Ed and his crew worked miracles in our back yard. They transformed basically a mud lot into our own beautiful oasis. Ed is truly an artist and his crews are world class craftsmen. They were on time, on budget and meticulous about their work. It was a pleasure to work with Ed and there were no surprises. Jan and I are very pleased with the results and as our good friend said after seeing the transformation, “WOW”. Ed is a man of integrity and my experience with him during construction and after with service on a few minor issues was exemplarily. Ed, We called nine different landscapers to come and talk to us about our landscaping issue. Elite was the most professional and responsive that we found. Ed Brazis came and discussed our issues and put thought and effort into what he thought would be the best plan for us. After he put together the proposal he followed up with us (the only one that followed up after giving us a written proposal) and asked us our thoughts. We went to his office and discussed the project with him again and then had him come to our house once again to walk through everything. The whole decision making process took us about 2 months. We are so thrilled that we decided to use Elite. There were others more expensive and others less expensive than Elite, however Ed Brazis really seemed to know his job and we trusted that he did. The whole transformation took about 2 weeks and as our neighbors say, it is now our sanctuary. We love our backyard now and never dreamed that we could love it with the landscaping issues we had faced for 7 years. We would highly recommend Elite to any of our friends, family and neighbors. In October 2006 my husband and I were in the process of building a new home in the North Georgia area, and were interested in having a water feature done in our back yard. We had passed the offices of Elite Hardscapes on Bells Ferry Rd. several times and decided to stop by the take a look at what they had on display. We were both very impressed with what we saw We asked the owner/operator Ed Brazis to come by and give us a bid for the job we had in mind at our new home. After discussing with him the location of the water feature, we decided to also add a living wall, stone patio and fire pit. The work began in November and was finished by the time we moved into our new home in December 2006. The work had been completed on time and to our great satisfaction. In fact it exceeded our expectations. We have had nothing but complements from neighbors, family and friends. Mr. Brazis and his staff are artists and perfectionists showing pride in all that they do. They also show professionalism by being on time and doing what they have said they will do. If a problem occurs it is taken care of in short order. We were so pleased with their work that we had them come back and do an additional hardscape in the front yard of our new home. My wife and I wanted to increase the area of our yard, so we contacted Ed to move our existing retaining wall back. Ed and his crew worked diligently and the end result was a very appealing rounded wall, which gave us more yard, and ultimately is an investment that increases the value of our home. We had a significant issue with the dirt pulling away from the foundation of our house. So much so, that we feared that one huge Georgia rain would have washed us away. I called Elite and one other company for quotes. The other quote was almost 2x more than Elite. Ed took time to answer all our questions, draw up a diagram of the project and review details with me several times to ensure I understood what was planned. He was there to oversee his crew for the day and a half it took. His crew are very hard workers, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves so that you would not have known any dirt had been in the road. Ed even worked with us on an extra little project that was tacked on to the original work. Months later, our neighbors are still complimenting us on how great the back looks. Words cannot describe how pleased my husband and I are with our new pond and water feature. Ed and his crew have truly created a dream come true for us right in our backyard. Ed completely stayed connected to our vision and constantly offered ideas for improvement; which resulted in the finished product being so much better than we could have ever imagined.
